AdsGone is blocking too much! How do I allow content?
It's possible that AdsGone may block some useful content, but this can be reversed!
- Make sure AdsGone is running.
- Try to reproduce the problem or access a site or program that you think AdsGone may be interfering with.
- Click on the AdsGone icon in the system tray near you clock.
- Click on the 'Logging' tab and click the button. You can RESIZE this logging window so it's easier to read!
- Click one of the buttons (at the top of the list). Look for any ads or content that was blocked by AdsGone (using the timestamp).
- If it seems some content was blocked (in the list) that shouldn't, double-click on that list item. This brings you to the correct section within AdsGone that should allow you to unblock (allow) that content from now on.
- If you can't find anything in the log that corresponds to something incorrectly being blocked, then AdsGone isn't causing the problem.
