AdsGone won't open, or I added a title to the block by title section of AdsGone. Now AdsGone blocks itself or all Internet Explorer Windows! What can i do?
The latest version of AdsGone should prevent you from doing this.
If you put words like 'popup' or 'Internet' in the block popups by window title section, AdsGone would allow it (a bug with v 4.9.0 and lower).
What this does is cause AdsGone to either block itself (because popup is part of the AdsGone main window title) or it would block all Internet Explorer browser windows (because all of them end with "- Microsoft Internet Explorer").
New versions of AdsGone prevents this.
The fix for existing versions:
1) If you have an old version, close AdsGone, then go to c:\program files\AdsGone using windows explorer.
2) Find the file named usertitles.ini and delete it
3) Restart AdsGone
